LAGOS – Efforts by Lagos State Government to flatten the circle of coronavirus in yielded more fruits after it discharged another 15 patients following their recovery from the virus.

The State Government added that the discharge of the 15 cases increased the number of patients that have been managed from its isolation centers to 138.

Of the 15 cases discharged on Monday, 11 were females while the others discharged were males including a foreign national – an Indian, who had earlier tested positive to the virus.

In a statement posted on the official social media handle of the Lagos State Ministry of Health, the 15 patients were managed at Yaba & Onikan isolation centers and were released by medical officials after testing negative twice to the virus.

The Government said: “These 15 cases have recovered after tested negative twice consecutively and due to this, health officials have certified the patients okay to reunite with the society”.
