BENIN CITY – The CLEEN Foundation, a Non profit and Government Organisation in the country has expressed sadness over the death of its Founder, Mr. Innocent Chukwuma.
The Executive Director of the Foundation, Benson Olugbuo, in a statement described the late Chukwuma as a patriot who throughout his adult struggled for peace, justice, development and security for the Nigerian Nation.
The statement added that the late philatropist was one of the students within NANS Platform that opposed what she described as arbitrary powers of the military rule in the 1980s
“Late Mr Innocent Contiued the struggles as a staff of the civil liberties organization where he led research and Advocacy on it’s platform.
It will be recall that Innocent Chukwuma in 1998 established centre for Law Enforcement Education in Nigeria, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission as CLEEN Foundation, a leading NGO In the area of policing and public safety sector.
He is survived by one wife, daughters and family members.
