BENIN CITY – Chief of Staff to Edo State Governor, Osaigbovo Iyoha, has enjoined the alumni of Ambrose Ali University (AAU) and other stakeholders to contribute to the development of the state.

Iyoha, receiving members of the alumni association of AAU, who were on a congratulatory visit to the Chief of Staff, noted that the institution has produced great leaders in government that have used their wealth of experience to contribute significantly towards the development of the State.

He assured the group that as an alumnus of AAU, he is an ambassador of the institution and will not disappoint his alma mater.

Iyoha noted: “AAU has produced great personalities in government. Anywhere we find ourselves, we work hard to distinguish ourselves in our profession or chosen career.

“As the Chief of Staff, I will not disappoint the association and institution in my present responsibility for the State; I will not only make the institution proud but will also make the State proud.”

Earlier, the Chairman of AAU Alumni Association, Benin Branch, Hon. Ogbejiele Fidelix, congratulated Iyoha on his well-deserved appointment as Chief of Staff.

He said his appointment to the position was due to his contributions to the growth and development of not only AAU but the state at large.

“Your choice as Chief of Staff is an eloquent testimony of your contribution to the service of humanity. We are proud to have you as a member.”
