Speaking with Crime Reporters at the scene of crime, an eyewitness, who did not give her identity for fear of being attacked and possibly killed, confirmed the incident, saying the issues of incessant cult killings in the area had taken a new dimension in recent time as residents are now living in fear due to persistent attack and killings of an innocent boys, a development linked to the fight between two rival cult groups.

She said further that on that fateful day, they saw the said Edobor Lucky with his friend, Peter Ugiagbe being blocked by five armed occupants of a metallic blue colour Honda Accord Car and as he (Edobor Lucky) was struggling to dodge them while riding his motorcycle, the assailants, suspected to be cultists, recklessly hit his motorcycle and they fell down on the floor.
