BENIN CITY – A young man,Collins Osarenren,who was accused by the family of his late
wife of his involvement in the death of the woman have been vindicated,but was made to fund the funeral of his late wife.

A family source told The NIGERIAN OBSERVER that, Collin’s wife gave birth prematurely and died a month after given birth to the premature child of six months.The family of his wife accused Collins and his family of been involved in the wife’s death.Both families went to a witch doctor (Socerer) to invoke the spirit of the late wife.

The family source said that the invoked spirit exonerated his husband and Collin’s family of involvement in her death as it was the will of God.The wife’s family allowed peace to reign,but they told Collins to foot the bills of the funeral.

After the funeral, Collins, who is a construction worker resumed work and things were going normal, until the October 2015 strike by tipper drivers loading sand to construction sites.The strike which lasted for weeks because of the inability of Edo State government to fulfill their side of the bargain. The strike crippled the economy of the state and most individual. Collins Osarenren was the hardest hit as things became more difficult for him and the people he owed money,he borrowed for his late wife’s funeral were on his neck. He had to run away to avoid been killed by his creditors
