The Nigerian Police Force has declare wanted one Lawrence Akhelumhele wanted for his involvement in homosexuality activities an offense punishable by law as enshrined in the Nigerian constitution with 14 year jail term if found guilty.
It was gathered that the said Lawrence Akhelumhele has been involved in the shameful act for years and has kept it a secret from friends and family members until he was caught.
Investigation revealed that Lawrence Akhelumhele and his partner Frank Ebozele were caught in the abominable act on the 1st of January 2016 by Frank’s father who was shocked at the sight of his son having sex in one of the rooms in his house.
Frank’s father called in the police to arrest his son Frank and his lover Lawrence but before the police arrived Lawrence escaped from the scene of the crime as he was chased by those attracted to the scene but couldn’t be caught.
“What happened was a shock to me and can still comprehend why my son went into homosexual with a guy who is bisexual because from all indication Lawrence has a girlfriend. When I saw them I was shocked because I never expected such abominable act will take place under my roof”.
Mr Ebozele said he brought up his son in a godly way and provided him all he needed to be comfortable in life but sure he was deceived into the act by his partner Lawrence who he felt is a good friend to his son but not on till now.
Information gathered by Police Investigating Officer revealed that Lawrence had relationship with one Miracle Iboi who was his childhood friend until the latter left the town where they both lived.
He fell in love with a young girl called Courage Okoduwa before meeting Frank who has confessed to the Police that he was introduced to the act and initiated by Lawrence who is on the run and have been declared wanted by the Police.
Speaking to journalist a family member simply identified as Osa has expressed disappointment over the news saying the entire Akhelumhele family are not happy with the behavior of their son over his involvement in homosexuality as he has a girlfriend Courage Okoduwa who is well known to the family.
“The news is shocking to the family, Lawrence is well brought up and we all are wondering why he engaged in this abominable act. We have not heard from him to here is own side of the story”.
As at the time of filling in this report the whereabouts of Lawrence Akhelumhele is yet unknown to state his own side of the story as a handsome reward has been placed on any vital information that will lead to the arrest of Lawrence.
