Benin City – An accident which happened at the Benin-Agbor Road in the early hours of 3rd March, 2016 had left one dead and two badly injured.

The deceased, a little boy of 10 years, master Tosin Adeniyi was said to be sitting in the front seat of a Mercedes Benz car, when it collided with another moving Toyota vehicle.

The deceased boy was later confirmed to be a son of Chief superintendent of the Nigerian Police Force. CSP Jackson Adeniyi.

According to eyewitness account, it was revealed that the accident occurred due to the neckless driving attitude of the driver of the Toyota car.

It was later gathered that those involved in the accident were all unconscious when rushed to a nearby hospital, where the little Tosin Adeniyi who was been driven to school by his father”s personal driver, Samson Taiwo eventually gave up the ghost.

Another eyewitness who spoke with our reporter revealed that the deceased boy was not on seatbelt when the incident occurred.

Speaking with THE NIGERIAN OBSERVER, the father of the deceased, CSP Jackson Adeniyi, the DPO of Egba divisional Police headquarters, blamed the death of his son on his personal driver Samson Taiwo, despite eyewitness accounts proved otherwise.

CSP Adeniyi who was in a very bitter mood, lamented why is it his driver’s car that collided with that of the careless driver why other vehicle are plying the road?

However, in a dramatic turn of events, the personal driver to the Police CSP, Samson Taiwo is now said to be missing and his whereabout unknown.

He was last seen at the hospital where they were all admitted hours after the accident. It was learnt that he was afraid of what CSP Adeniyi, who is threatening fire and brimstone will do to him.

On his part, the Police PRO, DPO Abiodun Osifo stated that investigations were still ongoing on the incident while efforts are been made to locate the whereabouts of the missing Samson Taiwo accused of causing the death of Tosin Adeniyi by CSP father of the deceased.
