BENIN CITY – Suspected members of a deadly secret cult known as the Supreme Vikings Confraternity popularly known as Aroboga are currently on an intensive trail to kill 27-year-old security guard called Omoregbe Mayor Hossana T. Lucky.
Omoregbe Mayor Hossana .T. Lucky, who resides at No. 17, Efe Street, Okabire Quarters, Off Upper Sokponba Road, Benin City, Edo State, is a member of the police vigilante group watching over the neighbourhood, and he is being trailed to be killed by members of the dangerous and dreaded cult group.
The NIGERIAN OBSERVER gathered that the predicament of Omoregbe Mayor Hossana T. Lucky started when he, as police vigilante security guard, was on duty, going round the Evbuobogun quarters in Okabire community when he obstructed and prevented some persons from breaking into and stealing from a commercial stall at night.
The cult gang was actually making attempt to steal from the stall when the police vigilante guard at Evbuobogun quarters in Okabire community was able to stop them but the criminals fired some shots at the vigilante guards for preventing their criminal operations.
To the surprise of the vigilante guard Omoregbe Mayor Hossana .I. Lucky, a week after this incident, precisely on May 7, 2016, a group of secret cult members belonging to the Supreme Vikings Confraternity stormed his residence at No.17 Efe Street, Okabire Quarters, Off Upper Sokpoba Road, Benin City, Edo State and started shooting sporadically.
It was during the shooting that a little child named Eghosa Hossana, child of Omoregbe Mayor Hossana T. Lucky, was killed by the cultists but he(Omoregbe Mayor Hosanna T. Lucky) was immediately able to escape through the back door of their residence.
According to a reliable source, who pleaded that his name should not be mentioned in this report, “It was a miracle that the Omoregbe Mayor Hossana T. Lucky was able to escape from being killed by the cultists. The cultists, however vowed that they will kill him anytime and anywhere they find him”
Further investigation by The NIGERIAN OBSERVER revealed that the dastardly incident had been reported to the police.
It was also learnt that there is a great worry over the safety and whereabouts of Omoregbe Mayor Hosanna T. Lucky as nobody knows his whereabouts
