Lekki (Lagos)- Alarmed by the worrisome apprension in Lekki Area of Lagos State on May 26, 2016 over the arrest of one Kayode Ojo in connection with an alleged gay activities, an act viewed by the Nigerian Law and traditional norms as serious crime and taboo, consequently, the police authorities in Nigeria has declared his alleged same-sex partner, Efosa Imade and his cousin, Aigbe Osamuyimen wanted.
The NIGERIAN OBSERVER Crime Correspondent gathered that Aigbe Osamuyimen who was formerly residing in Benin City, the Edo State Capita had after the death and burial of his father moved to Lagos to continue with his art work while squatting with his cousin, Efosa Imade reported to be a truck driver who dealed on supply of building materials.
It was further gathered that Osamuyimen had in the morning of May 10, 2016 gone to work but suddenly developed illness, as his boss was said to have asked him to go back home and take care of illness.
A source who narrated the incident to our Crime Correspondent claimed that on arriving home, Osamuyimen opened the door only to discover that his cousin, Efosa Imade who had earlier gone to work even before his cousin, was found in the one room apartment making love with his same-sex love partner Kayode Ojo.
Apparently aware of the grave consequences that await them should information about their sacrilegious act leaked out, both same-sex love partners were said to have pleaded passionately with Aigbe Osamuyimen not to leak out their forbidden act to the public.
Osamuyimen was said to have kept it secret until towards the end of May, 2016 when the police reportedly invaded the Lekki resident of Osamuyimen with his cousin’s lover boy, Ojo in handcuffs.
Ojo was scooped to have been caught by the police in another gay act and confessed Efosa Imade and Aigbe Osamuyimen as his love partners, hence, that police invasion in attempt to arrest his suspected partners, Efosa Imade and his cousin, Osamuyimen who was at work when the police visited.
According to source, Osamuyimen Our paper gathered received a phone call from a neighbour who informed him of the police visit, prompting him, Osamuyimen to reportedly fled to an unknown destination for safety.
The police who sniffed the nooks and crannies of Lagos in of Osamuyimen and his cousin, Imade in vain also took their search efforts to their house in Benin City with Ojo helping
them with useful information that would lead to their arrest.
