BENIN CITY-The Police in Benin have declared one Mr Orobosa Adun over his alleged complicity in the murder of his friend and associate Mr Kennedy Idehen
According to a Police gazette made available to newsmen in Benin ,the Police placed a bounty of two million naira for any one who has useful information that could lead to the arrest of Mr Orobosa Adun
Information regarding the whereabouts of the suspect whose last known address was No 10 Ojo Street Off Uwelu Road ,Benin City the Police extract states should be delivered at the nearest police station
The police gazette gave no details as regards Mr Orobosa’s complicity in the alleged murder charge against him.Our correspondent however gathered from a reliable source that Mr Kennedy Idehen was killed in an armed robbery attack while returning from one of his building sites cheuffuered in an Audi 80 car by Orobosa.
It was learnt that the date devil attackers had used their vehicle to block the car in which they were traveling along Urghue road off Siluko road in Edo State and demanded they surrendered all the occupants had on them
Late Idehen’s alleged hesitation to promptly obey the robbers caused them shoot him in his chest and thereafter took his bag containing some money .He reportedly died before he could be taken to the hospital
Orobosa it was learnt was however spared by the felons after he was dispossessed of his money and other personal effects including his mobile phone
Idehen’s family wouldn’t have any of these as they accused Orobosa of being the murderer of the suspect whose last known address is No 10 Ojo Street ,off Uwelu Road,Benin City ,the police extract states and promptly reported the matter at Ogida Police Station.
