…Husband Shot, 2 Daughters Killed, Runs For Dear Life

…Killers Vow To Get Her Dear Or Alive

By OUR CORRESPONDENT

ABIA – A very sad and tragic story has been reported about a young married woman, Sandra Ese in her mid- twenties, now on the run for her dear life, after encountering various problems in life.

According to a very reliable anonymous source close to the family, who wouldn’t want her identity revealed for fear of victimization that narrated the whole story to our correspondent, under strict confidentiality in Abia State, said Sandra Ese’s problem which is of destiny, deity actually started from childhood.

He said Sandra was born in Ariaria village in Aba South Local Government Area of Abia State. She was an only child of her parents, Mr. Francis and Mrs. Sarah Maduka, who raised their daughter to the age of seven years, before the first predicament led to the cold hands of death snatching them away a year after in a spiritual and mysterious circumstance.

Circumstantially, Sandra’s parents were asked to present her for the traditional female circumcision, which normally takes place, when a female child attain the age of seven; the parents vehemently refused  and rejected it, being ardent Christians, because they see the act as purely inhuman, wicked and barbaric. The female circumcision is always carried out by the evil priest of Oshimiri village and the exercise, which on no account should be refused by anybody, is as a form of spiritual sacrifice to the deity. And the resultant effect of any refusal is outright death.

When all pressure on Sandra’s parents to submit her failed, they were inflicted with strange ailment by the evil priest that led to their eventual untimely death in late October 2002.

After the early tragedy that made her become an orphan too early in life, her late mother’s sister, Chika Igwe, who lives in the same Ariaria Village  then picked up  the responsibility of nurturing her, because her own dad, who didn’t know his father too was equally an orphan and a product of an early rape victimization to his late mother.

Unfortunately, Sandra’s guardian (her aunt) Chika Igwe, also died around early 2013, when she Sandra was now an adult of nineteen years old. The poor innocent Sandra Ese was now left to fend for herself all alone in the village with local farming to keep the body and soul going until she got married.

However, the source revealed that another secondary phase of predicament started, when she was into the early part of her marriage to Mr. Sylvester Ese, a trader/dealer on shoes and also a youth leader in the same Ariaria Village Community. They were doing financially okay, living well with their a year old twin daughters, Chioma and Obi until his activity as the youth chairman took another negative dimension.

Unfortunately for Sandra’s husband, on one fateful day, mid-May 2016, he came home from the community meeting sad and fuming over the division of the Ibo youth and elders to crave for a secession bid of carving Ibo nation out of the country Nigeria, which he never supported.

No matter the disagreement of Mr. Sylvester Ese, aided by the wife, never to support the secession move, they still went ahead to plan a mass protest to draw the attention of the three tiers of government and the general public on May 30th 2016.  They boasted that the actualization for the carving out of the Republic of Biafra from Nigeria is a task that must be done, no matter the heads and blood that will flow.

They said though Late Emeka Ojukwu started it but failed in the civil war. But now that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu of the independent People of Biafra (IPOB) continue from where he stopped, all Ibos and the entire Igbo speaking nation are spell bound to support. Whether they like it or not.

On the fateful day of the protest, Sylvester Ese, the wife Ese Sandra, instead of joining in the protest, they were helping to persuade and convince a lot of people too not to attend and not be in support. This action irked the majority of the youths who vowed to kill him and his wife Sandra, who is aiding him for daring to work against their general interest.

So in the evening of 2nd of June, few days after the protest, the majority of the youths, massed up to Ariaria market and burnt down, Mr. Sylvester Ese’s rich shop, he had labored for all his life.

Still not satisfied, on the 4th of June, two days after burning down the shop, some unknown assassins attacked the Eses house at midnight. He was shot in the shoulder and still managed to escape, they pursued him into the dark night. When they could not get their target, they came back, killed their two little kids. Then his wife Sandra who hid herself somewhere, then escaped unhurt on hearing the shooting of their two children, thinking the husband has also been killed.

Thereafter, they started trailing them day and night in search of them as they vowed to get them dead or alive, night and day. Another source, an octogenarian and a family member of Late Sandra’s Aunt, who also spoke with our correspondent said when there was no more where to hide, as the whereabouts of the husband Sylvester was no more known, whether alive or not, the wife Sandra had to escape to seek refuge with a female friend Ada Okoro in the nearby village of Osisioma Ngwa.

After some days of hiding there, the bandits sent some treacherous looking armed men to warn and threaten Ada Okoro, when she Sandra was not around that if she keep staying there, they will come and wipe out their entire family.

Some days after the threat, Sandra was no more found in the house or even seen around. Whether they have succeeded in capturing and killing her, nobody can tell.

All effort to get Sandra Ese’s friend for comment has proved abortive as the lady too has also not be sighted around and the house they were living divorced its inhabitants due to the treacherous treat and follow up.

Conclusively, some concerned members of the Christian community in Ariaria decried a situation where almost a whole family lineage will just be wiped out of the surface of the earth just like that. They condemned the very sad situation as wicked and satanic and appealed to all Godly spirited  people anywhere to please help in protecting and saving the life of the poor innocent Mrs. Sandra Ese, who they said is only a victim of circumstance.
