Aftermath of the attack on suspected pipeline vandals at Abudu near Orhionmwon river in Edo State in 2014 by the Federal Tax Force on petroleum. During the attack, some suspected pipeline vandals were shot dead by the military tax force on petroleum protection. The whereabouts of one of the suspects that narrowly escaped death, Ehiaghee Osas is still unknown. The commander of the tax force, Major Tunde Ojo said in a statement to the press that one Ehiaghee Osas who narrowly escaped death during the attack by the military is still wanted by the Federal tax force on petroleum protection. Major Ojo said Ehiaghee Osas has committed capital offence that attracted death or imprisonment.

It was gathered by the press that the wanted Ehiaghee Osas narrowly escaped death during the fire episode at the camp when the military stormed the scene of crime. Few hours after the attack at the black spot, the soldiers mobilized to the near village in search for Ehiaghee Osas to apprehend him in connection with the pipeline vandalization.

The military authority placed ransom on anyone that can give useful information on Ehiaghee Osas. At the family home of Osas, it was gathered that soldiers invaded the home in search for Ehiaghee Osas. The mother of Osas, Mrs. Roseline Ehiaghee revealed to the press that tax force personnel threatened to arrest the brother of Osas if Osas is not seen.

It was also gathered that the father of Osas, Ehiaghee Alfred died of shock coupled with heart disease due to Osas’ tribulation. In 2016, it was gathered that Osas finally travelled out of the country to unknown destination to seek for asylum, in other to save his soul.
