A homosexual suspect identified as Osaghede Bright has reportedly gone into exile after his lover made confessions implicating him.
The Nigerian Observer learned that the lover known as Kingsley Odafe confessed to his parents who became suspicious of his homosexual tendencies.
It was learned that following his confessions, the police were called upon by elders of the community at Osagie street to arrest the homosexual suspect.
The homosexual suspect on sighting the policemen ,it was said escaped by jumping through a perimeter fence to escape arrest.
Meanwhile according to reports in the community, Osaghede Bright had been involved in the practice of homosexuality for several years but was finally exposed recently by his lover.
The reports also said that the community leader(Odionwere) and other members were fully aware of his sacrilegious desire for sex with men but were in search of tangible evidence before calling on the police for his arrest.
The police have said that it would leave nothing to chance in ensuring that the homosexual suspect was arrested as efforts have been intensified to make sure he is arrested and prosecuted for luring people into the sacrilegious and forbidden act of homosexuality.
The same-sex act of Nigeria prohibits any act of sex involving gays, lesbianism and others as offenders upon conviction are liable to a maximum of 14years imprisonment.
