The family of one Mr. Ohonba in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo state have continue to lament the whereabouts of their son, Ohonba Nas Monday, who they alleged ran away from home since 18th March 2016 after being attacked by some political thugs allegedly loyal to one Hon. Osaro Izevbigie.
Trouble allegedly started when the said Hon. Osaro Izevbigie approached Ohonba Nas Monday to be his political ally and help him mobilize some youths to cause chaos during an election that was forthcoming.
It was gathered that Ohonba Nas Monday known for his bravery, intelligence and social experience in community development in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area refused the bid to become a political leader, an action which didn’t go down well with the said Hon. Osaro Izevbigie.
Further investigation revealed that thinking Ohonba Nas Monday would work against his political interest, Hon. Izevbigie, on 18th March 2016, mobilized some youths in their large numbers to the home of Ohonba Nas Monday at Omwanta street in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area where they unleashed terror on Ohonba Nas Monday and some of his family members who were around as at the time while valuable properties we’re destroyed in the process.
Following the attack, Ohonba Nas Monday, who narrowly escaped death ran away from home for an unknown destination and yet to be seen by his family members and loved ones.
