BENIN CITY – Edo state. A tragedy shucked some few weeks ago at the I. C. E road in the siluko road axis in the benin metropolis benin city Edo state.
An eyewitness report has that a motor mechanics apprentice killed pregnant woman and her son.
According to the report the motor mechanic apprentice whose names were given as Odia Kennedy was testing a customer car after he had finished repairing the car, unfortunately to the motor mechanics apprentice, the vehicle failed break and ran into a pregnant woman and her son who was bathing in front of their house and both died at the spot.
The unfortunate incident that happened on the 13, June 2016, had thrown the family of the deceased into an emotional trauma and indescribable pains.
He emphasized that the motor mechanics apprentice was lucky to have escaped from the hands of the angry mob who descended on him for reckless driving.
The incident was immediately reported to the police area command for investigation, our crime reporter who visited the command show that the matter had been transferred to the homicide department of the state police command for further investigation for arrest.
Meanwhile the state police command had declared Odia Kennedy wanted for murder, if arrested he will face prosecution for murder which carried death sentence or life jail term.
As at the time of filling in this report the whereabouts of Odia Kennedy is unknown.
