Having felt empathy, his friend Osaigbovo loaned him some money. He also took him to a Micro Finance Bank to collect loan. He said that no sooner he collected these loans and bought delivery van truck, then fire gutted the vehicle and he was bankrupt.

The source added that after he waited to redeem the said loans but to no avail, Osaigbovo mobilized his friends to the store of Samuel Ehimwenma and started fighting him even without recourse to the fact that the sawing machine he was operating was in motion. They beat him up with sticks and woods and injured him in the process.

He swiftly held one of the boys Osaigbovo brought to his store and as they were dragging themselves, the boy fell into the working sawing machine and cut his stomach and also cut Samuel’s hands and he ran away to avoid being killed in the process.

The source further disclosed that Osaigbovo quickly went to the house of his mother since she stood as guarantor for her son as he was collecting the loans and threatened to kill the woman if she fails to reveal the whereabout of her son for them to kill. It was gathered that the assailants have vowed to kill Samuel Ehimwenma as they are searching everywhere even boasting that no matter how long it takes them to avenge the death of their friend, they’re prepared. They were insisting that his inability to pay the loan, influenced the death of their friend even when it became glaring that it was a working sawing machine that cut him in the stomach which led to his death.
