BENIN CITY – Ahead of Saturdays, governorship election in Edo State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has set a template for party officials, leaders and political appointees to remain relevant in government, saying that anyone of them who loses his/her unit should consider his/her office lost, from the moment the defeat is announced.

According to a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Comrade Godwin Erhahon, urged the party leaders to lead by good example by winning their units and securing their votes till results are announced.

“Leader who are so defeated in their units should not expect benefit from the Obaseki-led administration, even proud to be of no electoral value.”

The statement noted that “those who win theirs will be rewarded and recognized as viable leaders.
