UMEN (Delta State) – The Federal Government and Nigeria Police have declared Mr. Okemute Onorede and Gideon Amake wanted for heinous crimes as pipeline vandalism, destruction of government property and murder of people in Umen Community in Isoko North, Delta State.

The duo, Mr. Okemute Onorede and Gideon Amake and three others namely Mr. Solomon Efe, Mr. Wilson Oruma and Mr. Aminu Okoro carried out a dastardly act of pipeline vandalism, destruction of government property that claimed the lives of people and private property on November 29, 2016.

Out of the fire-man group of suspected militants, the police have confirmed that three of them, Mr. Solomon Efe, Mr. Wilson Oruma and Mr. Aminu Okoro have been apprehended and that they are going to face the law and be jailed when convicted, while Mr. Okemute Onorede and Gideon Amake are still on the run.

The NIGERIAN OBSERVER learnt that because Okemute Onorede and Gideon Amake have escaped to unknown destinations, they Nigeria Government has declared them wanted moreso, a notice has been placed for the information of the entire public that whosoever comes across the suspected militants should immediately report to the police or to any security agency nearby.

Investigation by The NIGERIAN OBSERVER revealed that the State Commissioner and police headquarters promised the general public that those apprehended would face the law and be sent to jail on conviction for vandalism, destruction of government property and murder while those on the run have been declared wanted.

As at the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of Mr. Okemute Onorede and Gideon Amake are not known.
