Benin City – The police in Edo State have declared a middle aged man Allen Osadebamwen Omoigui wanted in connection with an illegal substance suspected to be cannabis (Indian hemp).
Allen and three others were said to have been caught in possession of the substance where the three others John Odogu, Matthew Igwe and Marvelous Deji were arrested by the operation thunder storm of the Nigerian Interpol.
Speaking with journalist at his residence No 30 Iyoba Street, Off Murtala Mohammed Way, Benin City, Allen’s father, Mr. Nosakhare Omoigui narrated that his son Allen and three others on the 4, January, 2017 we’re involved in a case of alleged Indian hemp and had since escaped to an unknown destination.
Noting that all effort to trace his whereabouts proved abortive, Allen father further hinted that while he reported the matter at the police station where he was informed that his son, Allen was on the police wanted list and that the police have drafted their men to go underground with a view to fishing him (Allen) out.
According to him, he (Allen) must have escaped to an unknown location apparently in view of evading arrest and prosecution.
