BENIN CITY — The Police in Benin City,Edo State have declared wanted a seventeen years old girl,Osayande Faith for alleged threat to the life of a middle aged man.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer,Edo State Command,DSP Moses Nkombe,Osayande Faith,who evaded police arrest, allegedly went to the home of the 62 years old Benin based popular politician and businessman (name withheld), with the intent to kill him,because of a one million naira debt owned the business man by the Osayande’s family.
DSP Nkombe told Newsmen that the politician came to the police station to lay a complaint that Faith came to his house to kill him.
The politician according to the police PRO lend the family of Osayande the sum of One Million Naira early this year and when the family could not pay,Faith allegedly went to his house with the intent to murder him.
But a close family source told our reporter that the popular politician and businessman wanted to forcefully marry Faith when they could not pay the money owned him.
The source also said that he has been harassing and threatening the Osayande’s family,and also using the police to intimidate the entire family.
The whereabouts of Osayande Faith is unknown,as she has fled to evade police arrest and persecution
