Meanwhile, a source close to the family of  Festus at Ugbekun in Edo state disclosed that, the wanted 20 year Old had complained ofmr Johnson Obaze sexual orientation and his several attempts to rape him at their Lagos home where he lived with him and his family.

The source revealed that, Mr Johnson had assisted Festus to return to school  while hawking in the streets of Benin.

The source further said that Festus had once called his mother who is a widow to report a threat to his life by Mr Obaze over his refusal to be his homosexual partner, an act which attracts 14 to 21 years imprisonment, according to Nigerian Law.

She added Festus refusal was the reason Johnson accused him of masterminding his wife’s death.

“Festus mother told us that her son once informed her that Mr Johnson was a gay unknown to his late wife who had 3 male children for him, that he want to take advantage of Festus to be his gay partner after helping him initially to live with them at their house in Lagos”, the source said
