… Police Arrest Five Others

Benin City: The Nigerian Police Force has placed a two million naira handsome reward on vital information that will lead to the arrest of the alleged coordinator/President of homosexual Association in Ugbor G.R.A, a 35 years-old Ogbeide Ahusemere Monday who jumped police bail in May over homosexual activities in Benin City.

Investigation revealed that the police have intensified their efforts in the search for the said Ogbeide Ahusemere Monday who was arrested in the act but jump bail on the 18th of May 2017 but his partner Efosa Anthony was not lucky as he died due to the injury he sustained after been beaten by angry mob.

It was gathered that the death of Efosa Anthony led the police to carryout further investigation that led to the arrest of five other gay lovers in the areas who in their various confessional statement said Ogbeide Ahusemere Monday is the Coordinator/President of their gay group and he introduced them into the shameful act.

Report had it that one Moses Okojie was arrested in the act with his lover Godfry Okundiaye in an undisclosed hotel in Upper Adesuwa axis of the City and after investigation confessed that Ogbeide introduced them to the act as well as recruiting gay lovers for willing male customers who pay him for the services. Okojie said “l was brought up in a Christian home but was introduced into this act by Ogbeide Ahusemere Monday. I am ashamed of myself now and regretted my action”.

When asked when last he saw Ogbeide, he said since May, 2017. “After his arrest we all went underground unknown to us that the police was in our trail before I was arrested in the act. I have not seen him since then but got information that he has left the Country for one of these West Africa Country for fear of been prosecuted for the act he committed”.

A family source who spoke under anonymity said the life of the family has never remain the same since the news of their brother’s involvement in homosexual broke out as they have become a laughing stock in the Community and plans is on to ostracise them. “This new development has certainly compound our family problem as we are sure that in no time we will be driven out of the community where we have lived for years. The unfortunate thing is that as we speak, we don’t even know where our son is right now, but information got to us that he is in one of these West Africa Countries but we are yet to confirm if it is true”.

Report had it that two out of the five gay persons arrested run a gay club in the area. The two gay Club Owners are Moses Okojie and Fash Okunbor. The five homosexual suspect have already been charged to Court and the case undergoing hearing at the moment.

Those arrested include Moses Okojie (30 years), Godfry Okundiaye (28 years) and Fash Okunbor (28 years). Others are Tunde Bamidele (25 years) and Osas Oyalomehi (23 years). Investigation into the issues continues.
