JOS- The Fulani’s in plateau state under the auspices of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association Of Nigeria (NACBAN),has condemned in strong term ,the killing and beheading of Six of it Members by Irigwe militias in Kuri village of Bassa Local .
In a press statement signed by it chairman Nura Muhammad Abdullahi, and made available to journalists in jos,said on the 15th Oct,2017 ,Six of its members were gruesomely murdered by some irigwe militias in Bassa local government and their heads severed and carted away.
The militias according to the press statement, also cart away(40)sheep (9)cows machete, killed and a total numbered of (232)herds of cattles belonging to the families of the deceased persons were rustled.
The body who said the incident was immediately reported to the Divisional police officer(DPO)Bassa LGC and operation Save Haven(OPSH),sector (6)quickly visited the scene confirmed and supervised the mass burial of the killed victims.
(MACBAN) also observed the subjective reportage by some media houses during the unfortunate incident where they deliberately refused to contact and interview the Fulani’s to balance their reports which demonstrates high level of unprofessionalism.
They however called on the Plateau state government and the securities agencies in the state to investigate and bring to justice the killer of there members as the Fulani’s had being peace loving people in any area of their domicile.
