It was gathered that Adams Abiodun Adesola who hails from Ogun State was caught in the act of lesbianism when she came to visit her lover one Odufa Okpo Jasmine a student of the University of Benin.
Report had it that Odufa Okpo Jasmine is a 24 years old final year student of management science, University of Benin (UNIBEN), she hails from Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State and has been Adams Abiodun Adesola’s lover for over three years.
The lovers were caught on Sunday 28th of January, 2018 at a one bedroom apartment located at ADPA in Ugbowo, rented by Odufa Okpo Jasmine and were both beaten by angry mob as they were stripped naked but some security agent contacted prevented them from being burnt to death for committing the abominable act which is against the constitution of the country as well as the customs, traditions and belief of the people of Edo State.
According to report, Adams Abiodun Adesola and her lover Odufa Okpo Jasmine have since confessed to the crime under police custody, helping them with relevant information that will lead to the arrest of other lesbians implicated during interrogation.
Adams Abiodun Adesola who implicate her mother Mrs Adams Mojisola Mulikat who is 45 years old, said her mother introduced her to the act while in secondary school. She noted that her father was never aware of the lesbian act they were both engaged in as it was kept secret from friends and family members. She confessed that her mother was a senior member of a lesbian club in Ondo state.
“Based on evidence of my mother involvement in lesbianism, she was driven away from our house by my father’s family. The police were informed, and my mother ran away to Ibadan Oyo State as they searched for her”.
Investigation revealed that following the statement of Adams Abiodun Adesola and the collaboration between Edo and Ondo State police commands Mrs. Adams Mojisola Mulikat was arrested in her hideout in Ore community, Ondo State to answer questions on the allegations levelled against her by her daughter.
Another lesbian lady Mrs. Adenike Ajayi was also apprehended by the same Ondo state police command after a nude picture between her and that of Mrs. Adams Mojisola Mulikat were found in Mrs. Adams Mojisola Mulikat phone when she was arrested by the police in Ore, Ondo State.
It was gathered that She denied the allegation of lesbianism, claiming that she is innocent, she added that her daughter may have implicated her or be saying all these because of the torture she is going through.
Report had it that she however escaped from the custody of the Ondo State police Command as her escape is been investigated as it appeared she was assisted by an insider which made her escape questionable as policemen on duty are facing orderly room trials and if found culpable will be dismissed from service and face the law.
Speaking to journalist on the issue, Mr. Kunle Agoro a resident of Ibafo Community where Mrs. Adams Mojisola Mulikat lived before her accusation of being a lesbian by her husband’s family, said until now she is seen as a role model to be emulated due to the bravery act she put up in the Community to stop Female Genital Mutilation FGM which is also known as circumcision an aged long traditions of the people of Ibafo Community.
“She fought so hard to stop the circumcision of her last daughter Adams Adebola Ayomiposi but failed and was attacked by some youths in the Community following the instructions of some Elders. Her life was threatened but she didn’t give up the act of advocating for the eradication of the traditional act of FGM.
“We find it difficult to believe this lesbian accusation when her husband’s family first discovered and informed the community that she is a lesbian, but the confession and implications by her daughter is overwhelming and difficult to discard”.
“The Lagos born, CEO of BB Fashion and Style, an Ibafo Indigene by marriage who became a role model to other women in Ibafo Community who followed her footsteps to stand up against circumcision, but the news of her involvement in lesbianism has tarnished her rising personality in her community in Ibafo, Ogun State where she lived before her disappearance and this ugly incident”.
Mr. Agoro who doubt her involvement in the act says he is more confused because the allegation is coming from no one else but her biological daughter Adams Abiodun Adesola but however suspected the connivance of some elders of her Community who may have been insulted following her bravery act of standing up against the age long traditions of the people (Circumcision) and may have vowed to tarnish her reputation.
“As I speak, we don’t know her whereabouts as the police has declared her wanted and her daughter still in police custody waiting to be charged to Court while elders of the Community has equally ordered the youths of the Community to search for her arrest and give her public execution to serve as deterrent to others.
