Two ladies in their mid- twenties have been arrested by the Edo State Police Command over their alleged involvement in the practice of lesbianism after they were caught by an unsuspecting neigbhour in Benin-City .
The two ladies , the Nigerian Observer gathered are Osato Ekhator and Peace Uwadia.
The Nigerian Observer gathered that the two ladies were caught in the forbidden act by a neigbhour in the apartment belonging to one of the ladies in Benin City.
According to reports made available to the Nigerian Observer, Osato Ekhator believed to be the owner of the apartment was fondling and kissing her lover , Peace when , unknown to them , a woman unsuspectingly walked in on them to catch them in the act as the door was not properly locked with keys on .
The neighbour in shock upon sighting the two ladies in amorous mood screamed out loud saying “Awa” ( abomination) thereby attracting the attention of other neighbours , an eyewitness recalled.
According to an eyewitness who pleaded anonymity , the sacrilegious act immediately attracted a mammoth crowd of angry mob who unleashed anger on the two ladies thereby prompting a thorough search of their phones and the apartment which revealed further incriminating evidence of other members.
Nude pictures of two more ladies , indulging in lesbianism practice , were found in the phones and the apartment belonging to one of the ladies , the eyewitness added.
The Nigerian Observer gathered that the two ladies were however rescued by the timely arrival of the Nigerian police who dispersed the mammoth crowd with teargas.
Meanwhile , confirmed report revealed that the dispersed crowd of angry youth went straight to the residence of one the ladies in the nude pictures where property worth millions of naira were destroyed before setting the building ablaze to register their displeasure over the sacrilegious act committed by the two arrested ladies in the community.
The Nigerian Observer gathered that the destroyed building that was set ablaze by the angry mob was the house where one of the ladies , Osarugue Ehiorobo was said to have lived with her parents .
A statement made available by the Edo State Police Command to the Nigerian Observer revealed that two ladies , who were arrested by the police , narrowly escaped being lynched to death by a mammoth crowd of angry mob over allegations of lesbianism practice .
The statement further stated that while it was investigating the said allegation of lesbianism against them , the two ladies namely Osato Ekhator and Peace Uwadia have made useful confessional statement about their involvement in the crime of lesbianism practice while further adding that the two other ladie whose nude pictures and videos found in their phones and apartment were also involved in lesbianism practice with them.
One of the two arrested ladies, Osato Ekhator gave the names of the two other ladies as Osarugue Ehiorobo and Priscilla Elton respectively.
The Nigerian Observer gathered from a recent survey in the metroplis that an increased number of women involved in lesbianism practice in the state were desperate singles ladies who lured innocent married women into the sacrilegious practice of lesbianism without the knowledge of their partners (husbands).
