He also said, there was a lot of work to be done in the education sector and that modalities are on to bring about the needed transformation in education.
While throwing his weight behind the Not Too Young To Run Bill, he however said, only young people who are vibrant, responsible and ready to do the job should be supported adding that ,
from their antecedents, since the past is always the best predictor of the future, it would be easy to know such people.

“Yes , I support the idea that, we should have young people coming out to run for elections, but we do not support young people for the sake of supporting the young. We have young people who are armed robbers, young people who are irresponsible. Our support is only for the serious minded.
“The movement we are creating is actually a movement that would bring young people together, supported by credible elders.

“In the Civil Service today, the retirement age is 60(Sixty)or 35 years in service (which ever comes first). These our elders we are looking at,are the people that are 60years and above.
What are they supposed to do?Our elders are now supposed to retire, be at the background, playing advisory roles, telling us words of wisdom and how it was done in 1960 ,then we would now add it to our technology of today because, they to not understand technology the way we do.
According to Esanubi, “Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has been in office for more than 16 years from being a former SSG,to Commissioner and governor in Delta state. He has done his part,it is time for him to go and rest#
