BENIN CITY – One Evangelist Samson Igbinosa, an assistant Pastor of World Impact Christian Center at 182 2nd East Circular Road, Benin City, luckily escaped an assassination attempt on his life on June 20, 2018 along Benin City Bye Pass by two masked men.

peaking to our correspondent, an eyewitness,Mrs Osas Omoruyi said that at about 11am on June 20, 2018, along Benin Bye Pass, a Jeep overtook an Audi 80 car and blocked the Audi 80 car,with registration No. AGD 467 XA, two masked men alighted from the Jeep and started shooting at the occupant of the Audi 80 car, Evangelist Samson Igbinosa, and almost immediately they entered the Jeep and drove off, taking the Evangelist for dead.
According to the Senior Pastor of World Impact Christian Center, Pastor Peter Edoba, an attempt had previously been made on the life of the assistant Pastor of the Center, Evangelist, Igbinosa, which he also survived.
This second attempt is now a cause of worry and concern for the Senior Pastor and the family of Igbinosa
While lamenting the predicament and various attempts on the life of Evangelist Samson Igbinosa,the Senior Pastor said that they do not know the reasons behind the various attempts to eliminate him.The worrisome thing is that the people after the life of Evangelist Igbinosa is that they are hell bent on killing him
As at the time of writing this report, the whereabouts of Evangelist Samson Igbinosa is unknown as he has fled for his life
