BENIN CITY – If the news filtering in is anything to go by, then the least is yet to be heard of the avowed determination by the highest Ogboni secret society in the land to eliminate the family of the eldest son of late Idele Steven, Steven Osas.
The late Idele Steven until his death last year was a top notch of the secret cult.
His death was reported to have triggered serious threats to the life of his eldest son, Steven Osas upon his refusal to be initiated into the occultic group in view of taking over his father’s position in the secret society.
His refusal was said to have angered the occultic society who on March 2017 declared him wanted before he reportedly ran to an unknown destination for cover to escape being killed.
His family it was gathered was also not on a safe path since the incident last year, as they allegedly disappeared to unknown whereabout, following report indicating that the Ogboni cult had on November 2018 planned a failed move to hold them in captivity in view of luring Osas out of his alleged hideout.
According to anonymous sources, the secret society had been planning move to get hold of Osas’ family, such that on hearing that his family have been held captive, he (Osas) would sneak out of his hideout but met the was met with disappointment as Osas family who got a tip-off reportedly escaped.
The cult had already charged anybody with useful information on the whereabouts of Osas and his family to report at the nearest police station or any of its Temples across the country.
As at the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of both Osas and his family were yet unknown.
