ASABA – Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency has sealed the premises of JAMB Office, Delta State Urban Water board, and some federal and state government offices in Okpanan Road, for failure to tidy up the their surroundings in Asaba, the capital.

The Agency also touched some businesses and unwanted property in the area in its efforts to clean up the mess in the State.

The offices of Delta State Urban Water Board, JAMB as well as the Federal Secretariat were mostly affected among the score of premises as they were shut down by operatives of DSCTDA.

The enforcement team led by the Director General of the Agency, Hon. Mrs. Joan Onyemaechi Mrakpor, a member of the Agency’s board, Ogbueshi Adizue Eluaka and other officials of the Agency, started from Inter Bau to the Midwifery Market, Okpanam.
The DG, told residents of the area to tidy up their premises and relocate their businesses to avoid being embarrassed.

She added that the Agency is not targeting the poor or the elite but sleazes premises, saying the task force has not demolished any structure but shanties and illegal shops to beautifies the State
