The Special Adviser to the Edo State Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr. Crusoe Osagie, has challenged candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Osagie Ize-Iyamu, to put paid to the controversy over the veracity of the APC’s ‘lions and tigers’ video by providing the original, ‘un-doctored’ version of the video where he charged thugs to move across local government areas to cause violence with the intent to rig the forthcoming election.

In a statement, the Governor’s aide said: “The candidate of the APC, Ize-Iyamu is supposed to be a Pastor. As a minister, he ought to stand by the truth and do away with all manifestations of lies. He should not tell bare-faced lies on national television to market his deadbeat political career.”

The APC candidate, Ize-Iyamu had on a CHANNELS Television programme claimed that contrary to the content of the viral video where he charged thugs to cause mayhem during election, he was admonishing them to do the contrary.

Osagie said: “Now that Ize-Iyamu has claimed that the video wherein he charged the APC lions and tigers to move dangerously across wards to cause mayhem during the election was doctored, we challenge him to release the original, ‘undoctored’ version.

“The video in question is in public domain and it is crystal clear that the sequence shows the train of thought without distortion. Edo people are eager to see the ‘real’ version of this video.”

He called on Edo people to brace up for more lies from the stables of Ize-Iyamu, noting that the resort to lies is as a result of the emptiness of his campaign and his lack of vision for Edo people.
