BENIN CITY – The Edo State Police Command have declared a middle aged man, Olorunsogo Adewole Rufus wanted over his involvement in homosexuality.
Information made available to The NIGERIAN OBSERVER indicated that, Rufus was caught along side his gay partner, Osasua on July 24,2020 near a popular market at Ekenwan Road in Benin city, engaging in same sex activities inside a car parked near the market. The people that saw them performing the abominable and disgraceful act, gave the lovebirds the beating of their lives. Rufus narrowedly escaped the angry crowd before the arrival of the police arrested Osasua.
A police source, who spoke to The NIGERIAN OBSERVER on condition of anonymity said that Osasua and Rufus are gay partner, as Osasua has confessed to the police during interrogation they met at a gay club meeting in Benin city
He said that both of them were involved in the unholy and abominable homosexual acts until they were caught.
In Nigeria, same sex activities is a criminal offense and it carries a maximum or fourteen years imprisonment. While it is a taboo and unpardonable abomination in Nigerian tradition. Offenders are usually stoned to death.
The whereabout of Olorunsogo Adewole Rufus is unknown, while is gay partner, Osasua is now in Police custody awaiting his trial
