BENIN CITY – The Edo State Government has visited the family of Mr. Kaminu Mutairu, a staff of Edo State Public Building and Maintenance Agency (EDSIAMO) said to have been missing since October 29, 2021.
Edo State Head of Service, Anthony Okungbowa Esq., during the visit assured that family that Government has measures in place to ensure that their Son, father and brother is found and in good condition of health.
Okungbowa who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Head of Service, Mrs. Priscilla Aizegbemwin noted that the Governor Godwin Obaseki led government places high value on every Edo worker by ensuring that they are adequately catered for.
He reassured the Family of Mr. Mutairu that Government identifies with them in their trying time, assuring that measures are already in place for him to be reunited back to the family.
The missing Mutairu kamiru, a Quantity Surveyor at EDSAIMO was said to have left his phone and laptop in the Office without any of his colleague knowing his where about on the day he was reportedly missing.
Responding on behalf of the family, his wife Mrs. Shemau Mutairu thanked the government for the show of concern and support and told the visiting delegation that it has been a trying time for the family.
She expressed the family belief that with the help of God, everything will fall in place.
Present at the session were, the Permanent Secretary, Directorate of Central Administration, Mr. George Igberaese; Permanent Secretary Ministry of Minerals, Oil and Gas, Mr. Benard Oigbokie who further assured the family that government has not given up and would do everything within its reach to reunite them with their relative.
