BENIN CITY – THE Archbishop, Church of God Mission, Dr (Mrs) Margaret Benson-Idahosa, yesterday inaugurated the All Nations for Christ Bible International Institute’s Alumni Association (ANFCBIIAA), charging them to go forth and raise men and women to propagate the message of Christianity to all nationals of the globe.

The alumni are made up of graduates of the All Nations For Christ Bible International Institute, founded by the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa in 1968 to groom budding evangelists to propagate the message of Christianity.

The Archbishop while inaugurating the association at the Church of God Mission International headquarters (Faith Arena), GRA, Benin City, said the aim of the exercise was to validate the mandate of the alumni association to carry on with its responsibility of spreading the word of God.

She declared that the anointing of God was upon the lives of alumni of the Bible institute just as she urged them not to make the anointing upon them to be stagnant but a veritable instrument to raise men and women for signs and wonders.

“Today, God is telling me to tell you that you are not strangers to Him. Anywhere you go, they know you because you speak like your father; from your root. Once you open your mouth, people will know you are miracle workers.

“Please as you go forth; begin to raise men and women that will carry out this work. You are this fire brand that cannot be quenched. I thank all of you who have worked for the All Nations for Christ Bible International Institute.

At a press conference organized by members of the ANFCBIIAA, Vice Chairman/Acting Chairman of the body, Bishop Robertson Akwazi, said the decision to form the alumni association was borne out of the determination to prove to the world that the late Archbishop Idahosa still lives, and that they were those who privileged to be students or former students of the bible institute the great man of God established.

According to him, “that is why we asked Mama Idahosa to validate the bible institute’s alumni association to give it more authority as sons and daughters of the late archbishop Benson Idahosa who have decided from across the globe to come together as alumni.

“The inauguration is to receive the mandate on what to do to ensure the legacy of our father is maintained and come out with a programme that will impact on everyone”, he declared

Also in their remarks, member, Board of Trustee, ANFCBIIAA, Apostle Joshua Olaoye; Provost of the institute, Dr. Usman Habeeb: and Head, Ghana Chapter of the bible institute, Bishop Alex Kwame Nkrumah, noted that ANFCBIIAA has over 15,000 graduated spread across all the continents of the world.

They added that the inauguration of the alumni is a dream come true because they believe in the legacy bequeathed by the late archbishop who through his gospel outreach changed the face of evangelism, adding that graduates of the bible institute can compete with other circular universities across the globe.
