….Police declares three others wanted
BENIN CITY- Pandemonium erupted at Igbinere street off 2nd East Circular Road Benin City as suspected cultists stormed the residence of a fleeing man known as Saturday Odion, shooting sporadically in the air demanding to know his whereabouts.
It was gathered that the young man has been on the run as a result of the threat to his life after refusing to continue with a life of gay practice with his highly notorious cultist who was his partner in the community.
According to investigation the said young man , about 5 years ago was forcefully coerced into the abominable act of homosexual practice by a group of cultists allegedly known to be into gay practice in the community while the said Saturday Odion also had to initiate others who have also gone into hiding for fear of been attacked
Trouble however started for the fleeing Saturday Odion when he stopped yielding to the incessant demands in secretly indulging in the sacrilegious act with members of the notorious cultists years after he was forcefully coerced as members of the dreaded cultist feared he was capable of divulging the oat of secrecy which existed amongst them as gays to concerned authority or the police .
A source in the area who craved anonymity disclosed that the said Saturday Odion was recently attacked by the cultists as it was alleged that he now has his own partners hence he was deliberately avoiding further mingling with his partner who was a known notorious cultist after news in the community broke that he was secretly having the abominable act with other young men in the area.
However, the source disclosed that he was again assaulted and severely manhandled in public by the cultists who warned him to return to them without saying a word of what had transpired to any members of his family or the police in order for him not to incur the wrath of his partner and the group.
Perturbed by his outright refusal to continue with the said cultists and getting involved with them, it further infuriated the cultists the more and they stormed his known residence at Igbinere street off 2nd East Circular Road, shooting sporadically demanding for his whereabouts as residents ran and scampered for safety to avoid being caught in the crossfire.
It was said that the cultists ransacked everywhere in his apartment for his whereabouts but were unsuccessful in their attempts as he had already fled days before the assault .
Recent findings in the environs however revealed that before his sudden disappearance from the area, frantic efforts were made by concerned residents of the area and environs to report the incessant harassment and threats by the suspected cultists at the police station
According to the source , with the continuous harassment of the people in the area as a result of their activities, the family of the said Saturday Odion reported to the Police on the threat to life by the cultists on their son but unknown to them ,he was involved but having his own group
The Police according to source were able to arrest some members of the cultists and gay including the said Saturday Odion who now made a confessional statements and mentioned the names of those people he was involved with in the gay practices to include one Chukwutem Ojuma , Johnbull Rege and Sylvester Onos amongst other
The Police according to findings ,some photos and homosexual videos were also seen in the phone of the said Saturday Odion with the above names and other members
Meanwhile when contacted the Police Public Relations Officer of Edo State Command confirmed the report of an arrest relating to cultism, homosexual act and subsequent warrant of arrest of those mentioned.
