Warri – Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege, has promised to build a new Delta State if given the mandate in the 2023 general elections.

Sen. Omo-Agege made this known while officially declaring his intention to contest for the governorship election in 2023 under the All Progressives Congress(APC).

The well-attended declaration was held at the open ground of the campus of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State after a visit to some royal fathers

While calling on Deltans to join him to flush out what he termed “pervasive ruins” of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, the representative of the Delta Central Senatorial District promised to build “a new Delta”.

Omo-Agege, while reeling out his parliamentary and constituency achievements, said the same courageous feats, which will serve as a model, could be replicated to save the state from the ruin of the ruling party and promised build a new Delta.

He had earlier visited the Ovie of Uvwie kingdom, HM. Emmanuel Sideso where he went to seek royal blessings.

While praying for Omo-Agege,the Ovie reiterated that he is always willing to pray for any of his subject as they all remain his children.
