The Edo State Police Command has declared a 35-years fleeing bisexual suspect identified as Oboh Friday wanted over his alleged involvement in homosexual act with one Elvis Uyi culminating in his (Elvis Uyi) death on May 8th 2022.
Recall that the fleeing bisexual suspect,Oboh Friday who is a truck driver with two children namely Divine Ebuwa Friday,Immaculate Uyiosa Friday from his earlier marriage in 2019 with his step-daughter Treasure Osaretin became separated from his wife Beauty Osaretin after she was caught in the act of lesbianism with her best friend in her matrimonial home .
The Nigerian Observer gathered that the unfortunate incident happened on May 8th 2022 at Amayo Street along Benin-Auchi road when Oboh Friday came visiting Elvis and suddenly neigbhours,who could no longer hold their suspicion for Elvis whose apartment was home to all sorts of male friends,barged in on the two male lovers who were caught in nudity kissing and caressing each other.
An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity said the Elvis Uyi was only attracted to male partners in the community and this became a source of concern to neighbours in the community as the unwarranted sacriledge could lead to desecration of the community .
Speaking further,the eyewitness said luck however ran out on the two male lovers when Oboh Friday came visiting on the fateful day unknown to them that there were prying eyes snooping around in the neighborhood.
According to the eyewitness,no sooner had the two male lovers amorously engaged in the sacrilegious act when neighbours comprising mainly youths barged in on the two males who were caught in nudity .
The Nigerian Observer was told that the angry mob who dragged the two naked males outside the apartment unleashed anger on them using dangerous weapons to inflict injuries on them as the disgraceful act attracted a mammoth crowd .
Another eyewitness account recalled that one of the two gay suspects Oboh Friday with bleeding injuries however managed to escape amid growing disagreement between the youths who could not agree on decision to either burn them(suspects) alive or hand them over to the police.
It was however said that the angry mob suddenly disappeared from the scene when Elvis Uyi was unable to stand on his feet after receiving severe beating to his body as reports in the community however confirmed he died shortly from internal bleeding before the arrival of policemen.
Meanwhile,the police in a statement made available to the Nigerian Observer said it received report of a mob attack on two males allegedly involved in homosexual act which however led to the death of one Elvis Uyi while his lover one Oboh Friday was said to have escaped.
The stament further said while full-scale investigation into the case had commenced to apprehend members of the mob responsible for the alleged murder of Elvis Uyi,it noted that the police in concert with local vigilantes and other security agencies had concluded plans to arrest the fleeing Oboh Friday in order for him to face prosecution for allegation bothering on the breach of the Same-Sex Prohibition Act which attracts over 10 years imprisonment upon conviction.
