BENIN CITY – Eleven graduants of Wellspring University in Benin City, Edo State will bag first class degree honours in the third combined convocation ceremony of the University holding on Friday, September 9, 2022

He said the ceremony would feature an award of honorary degrees to distinguished and deserving individuals for outstanding public service.

They include, Mrs Betsy Obaseki, the wife of Edo State Governor and the President/Founder of Rosula Foundation, Princess Rosemary Osula Mki-Atu.

Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Isaac Rotimi Ajayi at a press conference in Benin City said that first class graduands are among the 210 graduands of the instruction to be conferred with various degrees, including higher degrees by the University at the convention ceremony.

He said that 130 of the 210 graduands would be conferred with Barchelor’s degree, while higher degrees would be conferred on 80 post-graduate graduands.

According to him, 41 of the graduands bag 2nd Class Upper Division, 68 bag 2nd Class Lower division, while 10 graduated with 3rd Class.

As part of the convocation ceremony, he said that a special thanksgiving service, inauguration of the pioneer executive of the University’s Parents Forum and an Alumni reunion dinner would hold on Wednesday September 7, 2022.
