The Families of Onahinor of Idumwun-Ogbe , Emu and Alenkhe of Ikiala, Okhuessan both in Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo state announce the burial arrangement of their daughter , wife, mother in-law , mother and Grand mother, Mrs. Rose Akuogbe Alenkhe who passed on to Glory on the 7th of November, 2022.
Survived by Four children and many Grand children amongst whom are :
Mrs. Magdalene Ojeme- Radio House Abuja, Retired, Festus Alenkhe JP.- Manager News /Current Affairs Department, Edo Broadcasting Service /Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists , Edo state Council, Ephraim Alenkhe-HVO, Tolaram Nutri Beverages Plc, Benin city and Mrs. Susan Ayore- Business Executive .
According to a statement signed by Festus Alenkhe JP. for the family the burial will commence on Wednesday 7th December , 2022 with a Service of Songs at her residence, No. 3, Aideyan Street, By Uzebu Cattle Market, Asoro Bus Stop, Upper Ekewan road , Benin City by 3pm.
On Thursday 8th December , 2022 by 8am the Body leaves Military Hospital , Benin City for her home town ,ldumwun-ogbe, Emu , Esan South East local Government Area of Edo state for lying in state/internment.
On Friday 9th December , 2022, there will be performance of Edo/Esan Traditional Dance Day at her residence No. 3, Aideyan Street, Asoro Bus Stop, Upper Ekewan road, Benin city by 2pm
On Saturday 10th December , 2022, the Social Dance will take place at Champion Event Centre , No. 8, Red Cross Crescent , Off Ikpokpan Road , GRA, Benin City by 12 pm prompt .
On Sunday 11th December , 2022 the Thanksgiving mass will be at St. Paul’s Catholic Church , Airport Road , Benin City by 9am.
