It was a surprise today when President Muhammadu Buhari commended the Peoples Democratic Party-led Adamawa State for ensuring that the state recorded developmental strides and contributed to national development at the gubernatorial campaign of his All Progressives Congress.

The President who asked the electorates at the campaign ground in Yola to vote for APC candidates in the coming general election, said the state has done the nation proud by its improvement in standard of education and agricultural development.

“Your achievements in the areas of education have made us proud and given us immense joy and satisfaction. Adamawa people are progressive in nature and it is time to prove it once again.

“Your contributions in Adamawa State to our national development can be attested to by your output in agriculture, fishery, livestock, industry, manufacturing, commerce, and mining, among others,” the president said, in what some describe as a promotional for PDP in the state.

Presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar is from Adamawa State and he has bragged about ensuring that his party wins Adamawa and landslide in the president election.
