ASABA: Delta State Agency for Adult and Non formal Education has concluded plans to distribute educational materials to its learning centres across the state.
A statement signed by the Director of the agency, Comrade Ernest Ossai, indicated that the flag off ceremony would hold on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 by the Chairman of its board, Chief Victor Egbune and supported by other members at Asaba.
It added that Delta North would have its turn same date while Delta South and Central would have theirs on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
The statement further directed all supervisors of the agency in the affected local government areas to report at the Olorogun Felix Ibru Secretariat in Asaba by 10am prompt each day for the collection of the allocated materials.
It maintained that the gesture was in furtherance of ensuring the realisation of the Finishing Strong Agenda of the state governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, in the uplifting of mass literacy in the state.
