The executive members of Esan Youth Congress, EYC, have thrown their weight behind the Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Marcus Onobun on his quest to represent the good people of Esan Central, Esan West and Igueben in the Federal House of Representatives.
This was contained in a statement signed by EYC National President, Odion Abumenre and made available to journalists in Benin City.
” We wish to formally use this medium to endorse and collaborate with you. And to spread the good news of your laudable achievements that have brought giant developmental strides to Edo State,” Abumenre said.
While describing Onobun as a detribalized leader whose legislative business at the legislative chamber has further positively impacted on the people of Edo State, EYC also commended him for bringing sanity, harmony, justice and peace to the state’s House of Assembly.
” We are proud of you and we are also strongly behind you on your political aspirations to represent Esan Central, Esan West and Igueben federal constituency in Abuja,” he added.
Abumenre prayed to God to continue to grant Onobun wisdom to pilot the state’s affairs as the speaker and beyond.
