Nigeria’s Supreme Court has sacked Emmanuel Bwacha as the authentic governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Taraba State
The five-member panel of the Supreme Court led by Kudirat Kekere-Ekun affirmed the earlier judgement of a Federal High Court in Abuja that held that the APC governorship primary in the state was not valid.
One of the aspirants in the governorship primaries David Sabo Kente filed the suit against Bwacha’s candidature in the May 26, 2022 primary election.
Justice Donatus Egwuatu who presided over the Federal High Court had ordered the APC to conduct a fresh primary within 14 day.
