Professor Godfrey Bolade Samuel lyalomhe, Provost, College of Medicine, Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Edo State, has been cleared of all blame and allegations bothering on fraud in the Nursing Science Department at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

The Professor of Medicine was exonerated by the Administrative Panel of Investigation set up to look into the activities of the Nursing Science Department at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

The AAU Panel, after a thorough investigation into the case of alleged extortion and examination malpractice, absolved Professor lyalomhe of any act of impropriety, misconduct, complicity in examination malpractice and extortion of money in the Department of Nursing Science.

In an official letter of communication signed by Comrade Ambrose Odiase, the University’s Acting Registrar, the findings of the panel indicated that the investigation into the allegation of fraud leveled against Professor Geoffrey Iyalomhe was concluded in July 2022 and found the Professor innocent and subsequently absolved him of blames.

The panel of the institution of higher learning consequently declared the query and purported suspension issued against Professor Geoffrey Iyalomhe null and void, having no effect.

Professor Geoffrey Iyalomhe has since been reinstated as the Provost, College of Medicine, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State.

The Institution has also commended Professor lyalomhe for his high integrity and commitment to upholding the values and standards of the University.
