The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has felicitated Edo people and Nigerians on the celebration of Christmas.
The governor said, in a statement on Sunday, reminded that the season of Christmas presents an opportunity to show care and love and reflect on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ
“I heartily celebrate with all Edo people, at home and in the Diaspora, as we mark this beautiful season of Christmas,” Obaseki said.
“The yuletide presents an opportunity to show care and love and reflect on the life and teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“As we celebrate with our friends, relatives and neighbours, we must keep the significance of the season in mind. Let us spread the message of unity, love, sacrifice, tolerance.
“I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a season filled with love, peace, and goodwill,” he said.
