(Save the Children, Build the Youth & Save the World)

I write to express sorrow over the tragic death of school children -Little Girls in Iran who in their innocence went to school only to be brutally killed by missiles from abroad.Tragic.Seeing the small coffins lined up for burial saddened me ever since. We believe that the World can be made safer, and its leaders can do far much better here than they are doing. The World needs peace, care and love, opportunities for Development and Empowerment for our children to grow and participate in global affairs, not war and death we are witnessing today. As we join others in mourning the death of these innocent school girls, condole with their parents, all of us at the Centre for Child Care and Youth Nigeria pray to God to accept their Souls. Rest in peace our dear little Children who were killed for what they know nothing about.

We hereby appeal to all parties for peaceful settlement to prevent further destruction and stop the flowing of more blood of our children and youth- the future of our World. We call for greater care and more opportunities for their growth, development and participation in global affairs.

The importance of child care and education in shaping a strong, responsible, and progressive society. Children represent the future of every nation, and the quality of care and education they receive in their formative years greatly influences the development of their character, intellect, and values.

Proper child care ensures that children grow in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. When children receive adequate attention, protection, and emotional support, they are more likely to develop confidence, discipline, and a sense of responsibility. Parents, guardians, teachers, political leaders and the community all play vital roles in providing the guidance necessary for children to grow into responsible adults.

Equally important is access to quality education. Education equips children with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities required to navigate the complexities of modern society. It opens doors to opportunities, reduces poverty, and promotes social equality. A well-educated child is better prepared to contribute positively to the economy, community, and nation at large.

Investing in child care and education is therefore not only a responsibility but also a long-term investment in national development. Governments, organizations, and individuals must work together to ensure that every child has access to safe care environments and quality learning opportunities regardless of their background. Wars, Terrorism etc are not part of the agenda for Child Care and Youth Development

In conclusion, prioritizing child care and education will lead to the development of productive citizens and a more prosperous society- a better world. It is our collective duty to support policies and initiatives that protect children and promote their educational, social, economic and even political growth and development- not wars, violence and death as we have in many parts of the world today.
Save the children, build the youth and save the world.
