Egypt will host the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League final tournament from 1 to 15 November, with eight clubs set to compete for the continental title.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed that Egypt will stage the competition for the second consecutive year and the third time overall, having hosted the inaugural edition in 2021.
Several clubs have already secured qualification through their respective zonal competitions, including two-time champions Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Uganda’s Kawempe Muslim, Cameroon’s Lekié FF and Mali’s USFAS.
Morocco will have two representatives, with Fath Union Sport (FUS) Rabat qualifying through the North African Football Union (UNAF) qualifiers and AS FAR Rabat entering the tournament as defending champions.
The remaining two places will be filled by the winners representing the West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU B) and the host nation, Egypt.
The eight-team competition brings together the champions and representatives of Africa’s regional zones, providing a platform for the continent’s leading women’s clubs to compete at the highest level.
The 2026 edition is expected to further strengthen the growth and development of women’s football across Africa.
