BENIN CITY: Edo State Deputy Governor, Hon. Dennis Idahosa has assured the management and staff of Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, of adequate government intervention to address the institution’s challenges.

The Deputy Governor gave the assurance during a courtesy visit by the Polytechnic’s management team to his office on Thursday.

Hon. Idahosa stated that the State Governor, Sen. Monday Okpebholo has a strong interest in delivering quality education to the state’s citizens as part of his administration’s five-point agenda.

The Deputy Governor promised to visit the State Polytechnic, alongside the Education Commissioner, as soon as the state cabinet is formed.

He urged the management team to continue working diligently to deliver quality education to the students of the Polytechnic.

Earlier, the Rector of the Polytechnic, Engr. Sylvester Omoruyi, congratulated Hon. Idahosa on his election as the state’s Deputy Governor and updated him on the institution’s achievements and challenges.

The highlight of the visit was the presentation of a congratulatory plaque to the Deputy Governor by the Rector.
