BENIN CITY: The Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has intensified the upload of data of intending pilgrims to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria’s (NAHCON) NUSUK portal ahead of visa processing for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
The Board said the ongoing exercise forms part of its early preparations to ensure smooth and timely processing of travel documents for pilgrims travelling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Chairman of the Board, Mallam Musa Muhammad Uduimoh, said sustained early data upload would eliminate delays and last-minute challenges often associated with visa processing, while ensuring compliance with NAHCON and Saudi Arabian guidelines.
The Executive Secretary, Alhaji Eranga Abdulkabir Muhammadkabir, urged registered intending pilgrims to cooperate by submitting accurate personal details and valid international passports to facilitate seamless documentation on the NUSUK platform.
According to him, the portal serves as a centralised system for pilgrims’ data management, visa issuance and coordination of Hajj services.
The Board reaffirmed its commitment to a hitch-free 2026 Hajj operation and advised intending pilgrims yet to complete their registration to do so promptly.
