Edo State Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo has sworn-in Hon. Andrew Momodu as new commissioner in Edo State Executive Council with a charge to protect the interest of Edo people.
Gov Okpebholo gave the charge in his office after the swearing in ceremony of the new commissioner.
The governor who congratulated Hon. Andrew Momodu called on him to join hands with his administration to deliver the SHINE Agenda and improved the lives of Edo people for the best.
He noted that Momodu is hard working and a man that can help him deliver good governance to Edo people.
“I congratulate you, you are a lucky person coming in at a time we are almost not swearing in commissioners. For me, I know you are a hard working person. I also know you can perform that was why we decided and chose you for this job. Go on and do your best to protect Edo Peoples’ Interest”.
In his response, the new commissioner, Hon. Andrew Momodu thanked God and the governor for the opportunity given to him to serve Edo people.
He said the opportunity is rare and will not take it for granted as he assured the governor that he will be of good behavior and do the best to deliver to the people of Edo State.
“I am here to key in and add value to the programmes of Gov Okpebholo. I am here to join hands with the governor to deliver good governance to Edo people.
“Mr Governor is doing well, I am here to support him. I assure Edo people that the governor has a lot to give Edo people and I will join hands with him to make Edo people smile”.
