EYEAN (BENIN CITY) – A young man Augustine Edughan, residing in Eyaen, Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Edo State have been declared wanted either as a corpse or alive for the killing of several people in a communal clash between neighbouring Eyaen and Urora communities over land dispute.
The Eyaen and Urora communities clash occurred recently on January 8, 2016 and left in its wake and trail, massive loss of lives and destruction of property.
Augustine Edughan was invited into the communal land dispute by his friend Christopher Edosa who is an indigene of Eyaen and Augustine Edughan killed some people after two days, The NIGERIAN OBSERVER gathered.
According to investigation, The NIGERIAN OBSERVER uncovered that Augustine Edughan’s uncle, Mr. Igbinomwanhia and his friend that invited him, Christopher were arrested by the Nigeria Police and they made confessions on Augustine on Augustine Edughan as secret cult members leader.
A reliable source, who pleaded anonymity to the NIGERIAN OBSERVER that sequal to the disclosure, Augustine Edughan had to run away for the safety of his life.
It was also scooped that due to the mindless killing of people by Augustine Edughan, the Police had been visiting to his house to arrest him to face the full wrath of justice but all to no avail, hence the Police have to declare him wanted and have consequently spread their dragnet in their intensive search for him in any part of the country.
